Cookiepolicy
Cookies are small files a site leaves on your device to remember something about you between one page and the next. This page says which ones we use, why, and how to make us change our mind.

How they work
Some cookies are indispensable: without them the site forgets the language you chose at every click. Others are not — they serve to understand how the site is read, or to show you an advert elsewhere. The first kind can be used without asking; everything else needs your consent, and it has to be asked before, not after.
Alongside cookies proper there are technologies that do the same job: the browser's local storage, tracking pixels. This page treats them all the same way.
The ones we use today
The site loads a single third-party tool, and only if you accept it: Microsoft Clarity, which shows us anonymously how the pages are read — where people click, how far they scroll, where they stop. It is provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited; until you say yes to statistics, no request goes out to Microsoft. There are no advertising pixels, and no maps or videos embedded from other domains.
Here is everything the site may leave on your device.
NEXT_LOCALE
Remembers whether you are reading the site in Italian or in English.
Essential · 1 year
flr-consent
Keeps the choices you made about cookies, so we don't ask again at every visit.
Essential · 6 months
flr-sound
Remembers whether you had the video sound on. It lives as long as the browser tab.
Essential · Session
_clck
Microsoft Clarity: recognises the same browser from one visit to the next, with a random identifier.
Statistics · 1 year
_clsk
Microsoft Clarity: ties together the pages seen in a single visit.
Statistics · 1 day
CLID
Microsoft Clarity, on the clarity.ms domain: recognises the same browser across sites that use Clarity.
Statistics · 1 year
MUID
Microsoft, on the bing.com domain: identifies the browser for Microsoft services. Used for advertising only if you also accept marketing.
Statistics · 1 year
If you accept statistics and then change your mind, Clarity stops at once and its cookies on our domain are deleted; those on Microsoft's domains (CLID, MUID) are removed from your browser. When we add another service, such as the booking engine, this table will be updated before it is switched on, and the banner will put the question to you again.
The three categories
The banner sorts cookies into three groups. You can accept them all, refuse everything that isn't indispensable, or choose group by group.
- Essential
- They run the site: the language, security, the memory of this choice. They don't switch off, because without them there is no site to read.
- Statistics
- They count visits and show, anonymously, how the pages are read: clicks, scrolling, reading time. Microsoft Clarity collects them. They help us write better, not recognise you.
- Marketing
- They let us and our partners show you relevant advertising on other sites and measure its effect.
Changing your mind
The choice isn't final, and you don't have to go looking for it: the button below reopens the same panel you saw on your first visit, with your current settings already ticked. Whatever you decide takes effect straight away.
From the browser
Every browser lets you see the cookies already stored, delete them, and stop new ones being written. The instructions differ from one program to the next and live in its own help, under "Privacy" or "Site data". A warning: block every cookie, essential categories included, and parts of the site stop behaving as they should.
When you leave here
Links to Instagram, Facebook, the booking platform or any other site take you away from here. On those pages their policies apply, not ours: they are worth reading at least once.
